Camel Hair Coat
A fully-lined, light-weight camel wool coat made to go with everything you're wearing now, from sweatsuits to workwear.
It's been a tough year, to say the least. After taking six months off from making any new product, we're back with the Camel Hair Coat. I designed this because I wanted to make you all something soft, sharp, and luxurious that you could wrap yourselves in for comfort and confidence. Stylistically, it was important to design something that would go with whatever you're wearing this fall...which, for some of us, is still sweatsuits on the daily and for others, it's jeans or even workwear.
Now, let's talk details! The silhouette of this coat is fitted through the chest and shoulders, nipped at the waist, and falls over the hips. The length hits mid-way down the shin for shorter folks and at the knee for taller ones. The material itself is 100% camel wool, sourced sustainably in New York City from deadstock. And, last but not least, it's finished with Henning-branded mock-horn buttons. I hope you enjoy your return to wearing pieces like this as much as I enjoyed my return to making them.
This garment is made ethically in New York City of camel hair wool. Its contents are 100% wool and its lining is 100% rayon. It's dry clean only and you may use a steamer or an iron on low heat to spruce it up.
